My Role Elaboration of the prototype with the set designer and in charge of the dressing the outer layer of the trees.

The Biodôme (of Montreal) welcomes you to the world of the sloth. This unrivalled master in the art of taking things slow has never been easier to contemplate. Elaboration of the prototype with the set designer Veronique Bertrand. Covered in latex and painted.

Metal and polyurethane. Sculpted by my colleagues.

Woven macrame type sheets. Braids made from secondhand blankets.

Making sure the sheets I made reacted well with underlying structure.

For the smaller branches we created a pattern by directly applying the braids and rope onto the surface. They didn't need as much detail work and this way they would weigh less.
